GK Energy Limited is a NSE & BSE listed Indian renewable energy company that has spent 18 years turning sunlight into reliable, everyday power for farmers, homes, businesses and utilities across the country.
We started in Pune in 2008, installing solar water heaters door to door. From there we went on to serve as consultants to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy under India’s National Solar Mission (JNNSM) — developing solar testing standards for MNRE–GEF–UNDP, drafting solar guidelines for high-rise buildings, and carrying out subsidy inspections for state governments. We then took solar to where it was needed most: electrifying 40 remote villages in the Naxal-affected areas of Maharashtra, and installing some of the first solar pumps under state farmer schemes.
Today we are among India’s largest decentralised renewable energy execution platforms, and in September 2025 we listed on NSE and BSE — a milestone built on the trust of the farmers, families and businesses we serve.
Our understanding begins where the energy is used: at the customer’s site. Years of hands-on field experience taught us what matters — a pump that runs when the farmer needs it, a rooftop that performs through every season, a project that delivers on the day it is commissioned and every day after. Our own field teams, regional warehouses and logistics fleet mean we reach places others don’t, and stay there.
Every GK product is engineered to GK-defined specifications and quality standards, and manufactured by dedicated production partners across eight states working exclusively to our designs.
We control the critical components — cells, modules, controllers, inverters, pumps and mounting — and every product passes audits, pre-shipment inspection and in-field performance monitoring before it carries the GK name.
We stay with you across the entire journey: solution design, product specification, sourcing, logistics, installation, commissioning and after-sales service. Because renewable energy isn’t a one-time purchase. It is a long-term relationship — a system that must keep performing reliably for decades.
